On my desk

I try to decorate our appartment room by room (and I’m afraid I’ll start all over again when I’m “finished”). Nearly finished is now our bedroom/office. Today accomplished: my desk.

Unfortunately the chair I ordered a few weeks ago is still missing, but I can hopefully switch the chairs in the middle of May.

The desk is one of my old IKEA desks that hadn’t cost more than 25 Euros. I just covered it up with a piece of new GreenGate oilcloth and voilà: a new desk! The calendar is by Enna, the cup I store my pencils in is by GreenGate as well, the storage tins by Cath Kidston, the magnet boards by House Doctor and the shelves by IKEA / our local DIY store.

These magnet boards are available in three different versions (with either a 1 on it, a two or a three). I couldn’t resist and took the 2 and the 3 – I can’t deny I’m a computer scientist.

I’ve been drooling over this clock for months on etsy and finally bought it. I made a backing with a 1cm thick polystrene board that I covered with a piece of cloth (Cath Kidston as well) and now I can use it as a small pinboard.

I have to admit I’m quite unsure if I’ll still be happy with the desk in a few months, but for now I totally love this place.

    Das sieht so toll aus! Ich freu mich auch immer,dass du sagst woher die Sachen sind. Die Lautsprecherboxen sind ja auch toll,mit diesem Waben-Design,überhaupt,alles von hinten bis vorn passend bei dir. Die Uhr ist auch super, ich habe letztens bei vertikker (bei Dawanda) auch ein paar echt schöne gesehen,aber ich bin dann doch froh nicht immer ans vergehen der Zeit erinnert zu werden :)

    Hab ich dir schon mal gesagt das ich deine Wohnung LIEBE!!!
    Ich würde auf der stelle einziehen! ;)

    Ich versuche unsere gerade auch was umzugetstalten, ist aber garnicht so leicht aus drei Gründen:
    1. Wir sind erst vor ca. 6 Monaten eingezogen
    2. Kaum Geld
    3. Mein Mann mag den Landhaus-Lool nicht :( schnief

    …ABER ich habe beschlossen, dass es ein langsamer schleichender Prozess wird. Erst werden vereinzelt Möbel umlackiert, dann kommen die richtigen Gardinen und Dekoutensielien usw usw, bis ich in ca. 5 Jahren meine Traum in Landhaus-Folklore fertig habe ;) hahahaha

    Geld ist immer was, was nicht zieht finde ich. ;) Regale + Schreibtisch und Wachstuch haben 50 Euro gekostet (Schreibtisch 25, Wachstuch 20, Regale 6 Euro – okay, 51 ;)). Männer mit eigener Meinung sind natürlich kontraproduktiv. ;)
    Worum geht es denn bei deinen Problemen?

    bin soeben durch zufall auf deinen blog gestossen, und bin wirklich sprachlos. so viel schönes und hübsches, so viel liebe zum detail… wow :) ich wünschte ich hätte auch so ein händchen dafür. jetzt stöber ich hier erstmal in ruhe weiter…

    Obwohl mir persönlich die Deko etwas zu viel wäre, finde ich kann man sehen, dass du sehr viel Liebe rein gesteckt hast;-) Vorallem den Schreibtisch mit den Punkten finde ich sehr witzig, und dann noch die passende Tasse dazu – genial! Bestimmt hast du ein ganzes Service;-)
