but I think, I’ll change the look of our living room – again. Not dramatically and not the way I did it the last time, but I’m quite fed up with all the flowers and the red in the room. And I’m a bit in love with Heather Bailey’s new collection “Nicey Jane”.
Okay, I admit, I’ve already ordered the fabric and I’m so looking forward to decorating the room with all these springy colours. I’m just a bit sceptic when I think of the red bookcase and if it will still fit in the living room in red. But if not, I’ll just give it a new coat of paint.

Witzig, habe deine schöne Seite gerade ziemlich zufällig entdeckt und dann seh ich auch noch, dass du auch in Karlsruhe wohnst!
bin schon gespannt, was du dieses mal aus dem wohnzimmer machst :) habe übrigens in den letzten tagen zum allerersten mal lackiert – eine kommode und einen dachbalken. dank deiner anleitung und deinen tipps ist es wirklich klasse geworden!
I really like the Amy Butler prints as well. I do think many of them will look quite dated in a few years though. Many prints you have now seem more classic.

Ich kann mir die Vitrine total gut in einem grau-beige vorstellen… oder einem hellen Orange? Vielleicht noch mit Knäufen,da wo jetzt das Schlüsselloch ist. Wie auch immer,ich freu mich auf Photos von den tollen Sachen,die du bestimmt mit den Stoffen zauberst!

Lisa, you’re probably right, I also think that these prints are not very … hm, classy and will probably soon be totally outdated. But I don’t think that I’ll stay with the same colours and fabrics for more than one or two years anyhow. :)
Sandra, ja, an orange denk ich momentan auch. Ursprünglich wollte ich sie mal türkis streichen, hab mich dann aber doch für erst weiß und dann rot entschieden. Ich glaube, ich werds einfach ausprobieren, zum Glück stört mich die zusätzliche Arbeit nicht, falls es doch doof aussieht. :)
I have this same fabric – in the green tones – and I’m working on a quilt with it. I quite like it too.
